J.GALBADRAKH: We will keep moving forward

Welcome to our Shine Mongol Harumafuji school website.

Three years ago, Yokozuna Harumafuji and I agreed to co-invest in Mongolia’s education by founding a secondary school. Thanks to significant investment and efforts of our supporters, today I am delighted to open our Shine Mongol Harumafuji School.

Development of a country depends on human development that is determined by the quality of education.   “Shine Mongol School” has already been recognized as a well-known brand. I am confident that Shine Mongol Harumafuji will also be another brand soon.

Our purpose is to provide education competitive in the world.

The quality of education in Mongolia has been criticized that it hasn’t satisfactorily met standards due to constant changes in school curriculums and deficiency of schools and facilities. Though, we are implementing the International standards in our schooling. 

We will do our best and I encourage you to trust in us.

Byambadorj. D    GIVING BACK TO THE PEOPLE

Greetings to all parents, teachers and students!

I’m thrilled to have finally founded our Shine Mongol Harumafuji Secondary school, after eighteen years of hard work and dedication in the extremely competitive Sumo World with full of respect and devotion.

It was not easy to be acclaimed as the Grand Sumo Champion Yokozuna. I was able to overcome all the obstacles, all the sorrow, and every injury that I have faced, with the support of my loving parents, my Japanese teacher, my friends and family, and the faith of my people. I  remember all my happy memories, all my sorrow, and the path I have taken up until now. Therefore, I always dreamed of giving back to the community and fulfilling my father’s wishes. After many years of being in the Sumo World, I fully understood that the Japanese people’s hard work, devotion to their country, and the respect of their heritage are the most treasured qualities of all. I want to contribute to the honourable process of educating Mongolian children to be responsible citizens who love our country, respect the elderly and our heritage.

During my time in Japan, I heard about Galaa bagsh and Shine Mongol, and witnessed that our Mongolian children and youth, who were educated by this man in this wonderful school, are setting an example and honouring Mongolians abroad. Later, I had the pleasure to be introduced to teacher Galbadrakh, and I felt that I found “the key” to fulfilling my dream. Through this school, we are aiming to contribute to the development of our country, by establishing a school that can compete internationally and give an education that is compatible with the World. This is my genuine wish, my parents' wisdom and valuable words. Finally, we shall succeed through dedication, devotion and hard work.
